I found the one piece pre-cut Maxi to be just right for me. I use it regularly from now on. My only addition to my comments is that I wear my pouch sideways with a stealth belt for comfort and found that the unit is designed for a straight downward use.
I have used the Conva Tec catheters for over a year and for the most part find them quite good. However every other box or so contain up to a half dozen or more of catheters that have a bend in the last inch or so. For me I can still use them but they can be very uncomfortable to insert. I have a limited insurance budget so for me they are a great deal
Since using these catheters I have not had any urinary infections which I used to have quite regularly. Also have to mention outstanding service from SCI. Orders are delivered in two days.
I applied it just like any other barrier wipe, and the catheter fell off after urinating.
They work great but I just wish they were a bit cheaper. I’m trying to find ways to cut costs.

This dressing is a life saver for me as my skin is very fragile and tender. Feels like a magic cover on extremely raw skin that is down to the basal cells. For ease of use these are the best catheters of the many I have tried from other manufacturers. I have been using these for 8 years. They are very flexible, the coating is adequate for good lubricity and easy insertion, and the sleeve prevents contamination. There are however some manufacturing defects where the eyelets are not polished adequately, and cause pain when inserted. When I feel pain I don't insert them fully to prevent bleeding. The defect rate can vary from batch to batch, but even with that, it is still the best product on the market for me.
